5 Tips for Waxing

It's still warm outside and the weather still calls for shorts, tank tops, skirts and the like. When it's hot outside it's only natural that we end up showing more skin than in the colder months. Waxing is a great way to show your smooth skin and not have to worry about any stubble. Did you know that it lasts two-three times longer than shaving? If you're planning to get some waxing done (legs, arms, chest, back, eyebrows, bikini, or any waxing at all) here are five some tips to make sure your experience goes smoothly.

1.) PLEASE DON’T SHAVE!
You want to allow hair to grow for about 3-4 weeks! Now I know this may seem like a long time, but the wax needs something to grab hold too. Trust me, it’ll make the experience much smoother.
2.)  Shower first!
Hot water opens your pours so that the hair comes out much easier.
3.)  Pain Reliever if needed...
If you are extremely worried about the pain, take a pain reliever about 45 minutes before your appointment.
4.) That time of the month?
It’s best not to wax directly before or after your menstrual cycle. Crazy right? But your skin is a lot more sensitive, as are other things, during this time of the month. Allow a few days before or after your cycle for your waxing treatment
5.) Bumps and In-Grown Hair...
The most irritating thing to have after your waxing treatment is to see in-grown hairs and bumps from razors. Satin Smooth Ingrown Hair Treatment Pads are the best thing for men and women who experience this. The advanced formula treats ingrown hair, razor burns, bumps, and skin irritation!
